The Peaks Here August 8
On Thursday, August 8, the annual reunion of the
Peak relatives was held at the City Park in Greenville. There were 122
present to enjoy the chicken, barbecue, which with other delicious food
and drinks, were served at the noon hour.
The out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs.
T. Emmons and family of Baird; Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Peak, Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Collins and family and Ira Peak of Sulphur, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. W. W.
Cole and family of Chillicothe; Mrs. Will Quattlebaum, Leedy, Oklahoma;
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bankston and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Leatherwood
and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coker and family, Mrs. Josie Gray of Merit;
Mrs. Idabell Henderson and grandson of Little Blue, Missouri; Mr. and Mrs.
Ira Bond of Clarita, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Chambers Peak of Midland; Mr.
