THE HALL FAMILY OF JONES COUNTY

Holly Hall-Meroney provided the following headstone photographs and how those persons identified are related.

The first Hall family migration to Texas was made by James Henry Hall and wife Elizabeth Gresham when they moved to Henderson County. Three of their 11 children were Elmer Lee, Henry Clay, and Maggie. James Henry and Elizabeth are both buried in Henderson County, Texas.

Henry Clay Hall married Lenner Johnson and two of their seven hildren were James Lee and Juanita. Maggie married Andrew Henson and their children were Ophelia and Tulia Mae., James Lee married Delores Newquist. Juanita married "a Mayes".

All of the headstones pictured below may be found in Highland Cemetery in Stamford with the exception of James Lee Hall who is buried in the Ericksdahl Cemetery.

Holly's great grandparents are Henry and Lenner Hall.
