On Saturday, 27 December 1997, Bertha Jean (GLICK) NEWMAN passed away in Dallas, TX. I am her grandson, Dr. Clarke Newman. The reason for my query is that there is some discrepancy about the year of her birth. If you can help us nail down her birth year, it would be extremely helpful to my family. The information that we have is the following: She was born in Terrell, TX during the month of April. (We are almost sure it was 21 April.) She was born sometime between 1896 and 1898. Texas Vital Statistics has online data from 1903 on. Her parents were Samuel and Olga GLICK. If you can help us, I would really appreciate it. If you are unable to help, please drop me an e-mail so that I know that you received my query.FINLEY, MORRIS, MUCKLEROY posted by Willis T. Finley on Friday, January 2, 1998

I'm trying to locate the marriage records of my grandfather and grandmother. They are J.S. RECORD and Mary Ann KILGORE. My mother was born in Kemp, Texas in June of 1906, so I am guessing that they were married in 1905 or possibly 1904. She was the oldest of 10 children, so I'm sure she was probably pregnant fairly quick. I have not been able to find them in Ellis County, but I think it probably was Ellis or Kaufman. Do you think I could get results if I contacted the genealogy societies in both of those counties? Do you have their addresses?DURHAM, GARRETT, PITTS, ROBERTS, WALLACE posted by Robert F. Pitts on
