SAFE BLOWN, POSSE TAKES ONE ROBBER

EXPLOSION ROUSES TOWN OF JUNCTION, KIMBLE COUNTY.  WOUNDED MAN CAPTURED

Austin, Tex.. May 14 -- A running fight between a Sheriff's posse and Federal officials on the one side and postoffice safe blowers on the other occurrede some time after midnight this morning near Junctio in Kimble County.
   The postoffice safe at Junction was blown earlier in the night and $300 secured, according to advices received here by Chief Postoffice Inspector R. R. Munro.
   The noise of the explosion evidently awakened the town and discovery of the robber was made.
   The postmaster at Junction and the Sheriff quickly assembled a posse and put out in pursuit of the marauders.
   The chase early resulted in the overtaking of the robbers and a pitched battle insued.  One of the robbers being wounded, disabled and captured.
   Advices at the department here are to the effect that the capture of all implicated momentarily expected.
