RACHEL GIBBS TAYLOR

According to our historical records, Rachel Gibbs Taylor
was born February 5, 1850.  She died October 6, 1924, and she and her husband are buried in the Junction
City Cemetery.

Rachel had two children by her first marriage:
Roxie, who married Perry Davis. Roxie died in childbirth in June 6, 1888.

Rachel's second husband was John Edward Davis, born
November 5, 1844; died June 22, 1927.

Their offspring were Ransford (1881-1961); Edward T. (1882-1968); Hayes (1885-1968); Dennis (1886-1925);
Blackburn "Black" (1888-1966); Ina Estelle (1891-1956);
Ambers (1893-1970); Lawson "Loss" (1894-1980).
