This little Spanish Cemetery is next to Cobb Cemetery, outside of Thornton.
I was told by the overseer of Cobb that this Spanish Cemetery was not part of
it. Some people are confused about the name. When Cobb Cemetery
replaced their old signs with new ones they gave the old signs to the Spanish
Cemetery. As of today they are still laying on the ground. The
upkeep of the cemetery is done by Lee Turrubiarte of Groesbeck, Limestone Co.,
TX.
