I am Joe Manning, an author and historian. I live in Massachusetts.
I've taken on an ambitious project to locate and interview descendants of
children who were photographed in the early 1900's by Lewis Hine, for the
National Child Labor Committee. I believe that telling the stories of the
lives of some of these children after the photos were taken could be an
important contribution to American History.
I am looking for the obituary of John Huggins, who died January 12, 1992, in
Limestone Co. The local library does not have enough staff to look for it.
Can anyone help? Mr. Huggins was one of the child laborers who was
photographed. Thank you
