Ben was the youngest child

Rufus Albert Noble
(buried at Blackwell
Cemetary) and
Otha Ann Best
(buried at Littlefield
Cemetary).
He was a veteran of WWII and
was injured in the Battle of
the Bulge. He received the
Purple Heart. He entered the
U.S. Cavalry at the age of
17 and attained the rank of
Master Sgt before retiring.
He married
Myrtle Lucille McCoy
in Bend, OR, May 4, 1944.
Together they had four
children, seven
grandchildren, and two
great-grandchildren. |
