Ben was the youngest child of
Rufus Albert Noble (buried at Blackwell Cemetary) and Otha Ann Best (buried at Littlefield Cemetary).

He was a veteran of WWII and was injured in the Battle of the Bulge. He received the Purple Heart. He entered the U.S. Cavalry at the age of 17 and attained the rank of Master Sgt before retiring.

 

He married Myrtle Lucille McCoy in Bend, OR, May 4, 1944.

 

Together they had four children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Lucille was the eldest of thirteen children born to Harry and Lela (nee Edmison) McCoy.

 

She married Ben Noble May 4, 1944 in Bend, Oregon.  They had four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
