Juan Rosas, 70, of Canutillo and formerly of Sweetwater, died Friday, Sept. 8.

Mass was conducted at 9 a.m. and funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12. Military graveside services were conducted at Ft. Bliss.

He was born in Eskota and attended Emilio Carranza School in Sweetwater. A veteran of the United States Army, he moved to Canutillo from Sweetwater.

He is survived by a sister, Aurora Masiel of Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews of Sweetwater including Martha Martinez and Andrea Melendres.
