The History of Panola County published by the Panola County Historical Commission in 1979 is no longer available. However, the Panola County Historical & Genealogical Association is in the beginning stages of preparing a new book of the same type. Any individual wishing to submit a biography on their family should be preparing their information. Typed biographies may be sent to PCHGA -211 North Shelby - Carthage TX 75633.
