Long Cemetery

Directions: From Carthage go westbound on State Highway 315 for 8.3 miles to the intersection with FM 1971. Turn left onto FM 1971 and go 0.2 miles, cemetery will be on the right hand side of the highway, just off the right-of-way. Small rounded stone marker with "Long Cem" at the front of the cemetery. Burial area is fenced off on three sides, but open toward the highway. Unknown number of unmarked graves, but certainly more than the ten marked graves.
