Information: There is a Concord Cemetery fellowship
on the Saturday after Thanksgiving each year. It starts just before
noontime for fellowship and a meal. bring a dish if you can) at
the Madras Community Center which is on Hwy 1700 about 1 or 2
miles before you get to Concord. After eating we drive to Concord
Cemetery. It has been a small group of about 10 to 15 recently
but hope to get the word out for better attendance. The cemetery
is in good shape thanks to Bill Woods. If anyone has any questions,
they may call me at 903 785 1272 or Bill Woods at 903 427 3205.
A visit to Concord is like going back in time. Markers back to
1847 and hugh oak trees that I am certain were in place at that
time. Jim
