Lanes Chapel CemeteryRed River County, Texas
Reading the info about the cemetery and noticed that the name may have changed. It has not changed. There is still a covered meeting place, a church, and a community center across the road. There is still a sign above the cemetery gate that tells the name. There is also a Lane's Chapel Cemetery Society that takes care of the maintenance and fund-raising activities for the maintenance. There is an annual fund-raiser each October called the Harvest Festival." Kathie Wells |
