Reed B Cemetery, 8 Jun
1938,"This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant
of Red River County, Texas. GPS COORDINATES: Datum WGS84: 33
Deg 42.219W, 94 Deg 55.418W. From Hwy 82 east of Clarksville
take FM 1159 for 9.9 miles to the intersection with CR 3225,
turning right onto CR 3225 for 1.9 miles to CR 3230. Take CR
3230 south or right for 1/10 mile to CR 3227. Turn east or left
for 2/10 mile and the cemetery is on the right. A deed from M.
L. Reed et ux to Antioch Baptist Church for two acres of the
U. Aiguier survey on 12 Oct 1918 and recorded on 27 Feb 1919
in Book CH Vol 94 page 330. The oldest marked grave is that of
Marcelles Jackson who died on 8 Jun 1938. The cemetery was surveyed
by Lawrence and Sue Dale on 19 Jan 1999. We visited the site
again on 8 Dec 2003 and took the GPS readings. We also did a
re walk of the cemetery adding new burials and noting marker
changes."
