of the army in May, 1862. He returned home and died December 23, 1889.

Willian[sic] Allen was slightly wounded in the neck at the Battle of Iuka, Miss., Sept. 19, 1862. Afterwards he was severely wounded in the right arm while on the skirmish line near Atlanta, Ga., July 4, 1864. He was furloughed and afterwards returned home. He was later killed in a personal encounter.

Alex Allen was killed on the battlefield at Thompson's Station, Tenn., March 5, 1863.

S. C. Allen returned home after the war. He lives near Wills Point, Texas.

R. A. Anderson died of disease, time and place unknown, but supposed to be Memphis, Tenn.

J. F. Bryant returned home on furlough near the close of the war. He died at his home in Sulphur Bluff, Feb. 25, 1911.

A. D. Bruton was discharged by reason of underage at the reorganization of the army in May, 1862. He died at his home in Red River County, Feb. 15, 1899.

Henry Bushfield was captured at Hatchie Bridge, Oct. 5, 1862. He took the oath of allegiance to the United States. His residence is unknown.

Andrew Cairy was severely wounded in the head at Hatchie Bridge, Miss., Oct. 5, 1862. He was furloughed, went home, and afterwards was transferred to another command. His residence is unknown.

John A. Corley was transferred to Gould's Regiment, time and place unknown. He died in Red River County, but the time of death is unknown.

A. P. Corley was transferred to Gould's Regiment, time and place unknown. Died at his residence in Clarksville, November 22, 1906.
