[The S. W. Love Family]

W. H. Love of Bagwell, Texas, is the son of S. W. Love. S. W. Love [W. H. Love?] had three children, namely: Nora Love, who married Ike Wallace, Joe Love, who died at the age of about 19 years at Bagwell, and Bertie Love, who died at the age of about 30 years at Bagwell. W. H. Love is now a merchant in Bagwell and has been for about 20 years.

[The Nathaniel Bagwell Family]

Miles Bagwell left North Carolina and moved from there to Fredonia, Kentucky. There he lost his first wife, whose name was Annie. Miles Bagwell's brothers were Dow, Dan and Jim Bagwell. Their father's name was Nathaniel, whose name was on the honor roll in Washington for a claim to Indian lands.

Miles Bagwell came to Texas in 1835. On his way he stopped in Arkansas for a while and married Eliza Kelly. The children of Miles Bagwell were Nathaniel, Miles, Abner, Elizabeth, William, Mary La Vina and Melvina (twins), Viola, Ellen and Addie.

Bagwell took its name from Nathaniel (Nat) Bagwell. Nat Bagwell married Sarah Elizabeth Rodgers. To this union were born seven [eight?] children: Nathaniel R., Mary Margaret Bagwell, Honea Watt, Chas. Milton, Fallie Bozeman Sport, William E., John A., and Laura V. Bagwell Love.
