DIRECTIONS King Family Cemetery – Milam, Sabine County, Texas - From the courthouse in Hemphill take Hwy 83 East 1 block to Hwy 87. Go North or left 7 miles to Milam. At the intersection of Hwy 87 and Hwy 21 in Milam continue North on Hwy 87 5.4 miles to West Carter’s Ferry Road. Turn West or left on West Carter’s Ferry Road, go 3.8 miles to King Family Cemetery sign on right side of road. Turn in to the right, you will be on the highline Right of Way and you will follow the road to the left about 100 yards and turn right for about another 100 yards. The cemetery is on the left completely taken over by the woods and underbrush. Additional information added in parenthesis. |
