The following records were copied from the Bible that Thomas King and his wife Darcus Corbett King brought with them when they came from Alabama to Upshur County, Texas around 1852.  The Bible was passed from one generation to the next until it was in the possession of Hannah Irijuan Breams Dean,  gggrandchild of Thomas and Darcus.  Prior to her death on 08-13-1981, Lucy Dell Lowry Gorman transcribed the records.  Some time after  this Hannah Dean?s home was destroyed by fire taking the Bible with it.   The transcription was copied by Ann Kerryn King Tebow on March 17, 1993.  Ann Kerryn is  also the gggrandchild of Thomas and Darcus.  The original transcription is in the possession of Katherine Ann Gorman Triebenbach the granddaughter of Lucy Dell Lowry Gorman.  As stated this is a transcription and was copied verbatim.  Some entries are made twice etc.
