 Leander   6-14-1846 5-29-1918 Per Ronald Wade - Leander "Lea" Trinkle, born in Coffee, Clay Co., Indiana, the son of Christopher Trinkle (1812 ? 1877) and Amelia Sarah Mattox (1821 ? 1852).  He married 18 Jun 1882 in Smith Co., Tx. to Ida Vernon Webb (born 1858 Alabama - 16 May 1940 Leon Co., Tx.) Their children included Lena L. Trinkle (1882-1886), Roscoe Conklin Trinkle (1884-1926), Nellie E. Trinkle born about 1884, Homer Madison Trinkle (born 2 Apr 1885), Arthur Trinkle (born 29 Jun 1887), Clyde James Trinkle (born 1 Nov 1888), and Claude Trinkle born about 1894.  In the Civil War he was a U.S. Soldier in Co. I, 73rd Indiana Volunteer Infantry from Aug 5, 1862 until July 5, 1865.
