ADAMS, ALBERT M - M/Sgt. Albert M. Adams, son of Mrs. Annie Adams,Abilene, husband of Dean Nichols, graduate of Union Grove High. Entered Army Air Corps, 1937, trained at Kelly Field and Washington. Served in ATO. Awarded Pre-Pearl Harbor, GC, ATO, Victory Ribbons. Re-enlisted in 1945.

ADKISON, THOMAS J - Flight Sgt Air Bomber Thomas James Adkison, son of Mr and Mrs J A Adkison, Bettie, attended Union Hill HS. Entered Canadian Field Force in 1941, trained in Canada and England. Served in England. Missing in action since March 24, 1944 over Berlin, Germany. Presumed dead for official purposes.
AILLS, JAMES M - S/Sgt James M Aills, son of Mrs W W Cline, Spring Hill, attended Union Hill HS. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained in Georgia and Florida. Served in Germany, Italy and France. German POW for 7 months. Awarded Purple Heart with Cluster, Air Medal with 2 OLCs, ETO Ribbon, 3 Battle Stars and Pres. Citation with Cluster. Wounded in Germany, 1944. Discharged in 1945.
