LANDRUM, HARVEY E - Lt. Harvey E. Landrum, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Landrum, Kilgore, husband of Mildred Lee, graduate of Kilgore High and Jr. College. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Kelly Field, Goodfellow and Brooks Field, Texas, Tennessee and Mississippi. Served in S. Pacific, New Guinea and New Britain. Awarded S-P Ribbons, 2 Bronze Stars. Killed in Actin in 1944 in New Guinea.

LANGE, MORRIS A - Tech. 5/c Morris A. Lange, son of U. B. Lange, Gilmer, husband of Almeda Grimes, attended Union Hill School. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Edwards, Mass, Florida and California. Served in Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea, Philippines and Luzon. Awarded Amer. Theater, A-P with 4 Bronze Stars, 1 Bronze Arrowhead, Victory Ribbons, GC Meda, 1 Service Stripe and 4 Overseas Stripes. Discharged in 1945.
LANGFORD, CARROLL D - S 1/c Carroll D. Langford, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Langford, Little Mound, husband of Wynona Minchew, attended Latch School. Entered Navy, 1944, trained at San Diego, Cal. on USS Fox, destroyer on West Coast. Went to Norfolk, Va. to decommission ship. Discharged in 1945.

Awarded Purple Heart, Pres.Citation. Wounded near Salival, France. Died of wounds received in action, Nov., 1944, in France. Buried in U.S. Military Cemetery, Limey, France.
