W C Phillips and little son, Renel, made a trip to Big Sandy Saturday.
The Johnson Bros got a big lot of fence burned Saturday.
Rev Moser filled his appointment at Rocky Sunday.
W C Phillips and family spent Sunday at W W Perdue's.
Mrs J R Haigwood and children are the guests of Mrs Ludie Phillips this week.
Miss Dillie Davis of White Oak and a Mr Smith of Hopewell, were married
at the
home of the bride last Sunday morning, Bro B F Phillips officiating.

Rev John Christian of Gilmer, was here Wednesday attending the burial of Grandpapa Jeter
Jerome Kilgore of Hawkins spent a couple of days here this week
Oscar Jeter is reported quite ill this week
On last Wednesday, Mr L J Everett had the body of his mother, Mrs Tempa
Dean, disinterred and
reburied in the Village Cemetery, it being decided to discontinue the
burying ground where she
has lain for nearly 6 years. She was reinterred at the same time
that Mr Jeter, Mrs Everett's
father was buried.
