Comments: George Washington Hackler and Andrew Jackson Hackler are twins. William Francis Hackler died of measles in the Civil War. John Wesley Hackler attained rank of 3rd Lieutenant in the Civil War and also served as a nurse for a short time. He served as Sheriff and County Judge for Upshur County.
