The Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TCGS) invites you, your members and patrons to attend the January 25, 2025 in person event “From the Czech Lands to Texas” at the Caldwell Civic and Visitor Center. We would be most grateful if you would share and display the following information and attached flyers with your members and patrons and send them to your distribution lists as well as include on your website and/or newsletters. You do not have to be a TCGS member or of Czech heritage to attend. Everyone is welcome.
Texas Czech Genealogical Society – “From the Czech Lands to Texas”
January 25, 2025 8:00 AM Registration & Refreshments; 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Program
Caldwell Civic Center, 103 Hwy. 21 W., Caldwell, TX 77836

Speakers: Dr. John Blair - Researching Your Czech Ancestors' Military Service with an Emphasis on WWI; Dr. Stan Vitha - How the Czech Kolaches Conquered the World, or at Least Texas; T.J. Slansky - Researching the Opava and Brno Archives in the Czech Republic; and Dr. Mike Middleton - Award Winning Professional Accordionist Performing Many Favorites.

If postmarked on/before January 14, 2025 TCGS members $40.00 and non-TCGS members $45.00; if post-marked after January 14, 2025 TCGS members $45.00 and non-TCGS members $50.00; and at the door (All) - $60.00.
You do not have to be a TCGS member or of Czech heritage to attend. Everyone is welcome. The Texas Czech Genealogical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Wharton County TXGenWeb Project needs your records.
Please submit anything which maybe of value to other researchers: Bible records, marriage records, wills, pension records, land records, death and obituary records, photos, and old letters. County, community, church, and school histories.  Your help in helping other researchers is vital to the success of the TXGenWeb Project.
