Clifton Community
| The Clifton Community was located six miles northwest of Newcastle in central Young County. A school was located in the community which later consolidated into the Newcastle schools. The school was located near the southeast corner of the Texas Emigration & Land Company Survey, A-599. Nothing remains of this community. |
