Gage Creek Community

The Gage Crek community was a cluster of farm houses located four miles northwest of Eliasville on Gage Creek. Gage Creek Community is named for the daughter of the Gage family who drowned by falling into the creek after a heavy rain.

For a time, Gage Creek had a one-room community school with 27 pupils. The school was located in the northeast corner of the M.L. Daniel Survey, Abstract No. 1415. The Donnell cemetery was the burial grounds for those members of the Gage Creek Community.

Nothing remains of the community today.
