White Rose Community

The White Rose Community was located six miles northwest of Graham, near Brier Creek on the north end of today's Lake Graham. White Rose was named by Mrs. Fannie McCombs who loved roses. A one room school was located in the southeast corner of the Texas Emigration & Land Company Survey, Abstract No. 647. A White Rose School road with the 911 program reminds those who remember where the little community that existed at one time.
