Judge A. P. Spohn of Zapata Dies
Laredo, TX, May 31 - County Judge A.P. Spohn of Zapata county, who four years ago suffered an infection of a toe on the right foot and had the toe amputated above the ankle in this city ten days ago, died in Mercy hospital last night surrounded by the members of his family, all the officials of the county and others who had come to his bedside. He relapsed into unconsciousness Sunday and remained unconscious to the end. The body was taken to Zapata county this afternoon and the funeral will be held there tomorrow morning.The Corpus Christi Caller, June 01, 1921
