| NOTES: Ed M. Watson was educated in Stewards Mill Schools and at Hill's Business College in Waco, TX. He and his brother C. H. Watson operated the WX Ranch in TX and OK. Like his father before him, he owned and operated Stewards Mill Store. Grace Beauchamp Watson attended school in Dew and Southwestern University. Prior to her marriage, she taught school at Birdston. She was a member of the Methodist Church. 2nd wife-- Ed M. Watson was a merchant and rancher of Stewards Mill, TX. Angie Compton taught school. She graduated from Sam Houston Normal Institute in 1905 and taught in Butler, Teague, Shanks, Burleson/Israel in Freestone Co. and in other Texas places: Richmond, Mexia, Chappell Hill Female College, Methodist Orphans Home in Waco. After marriage she helped her husband, for about 20 years they operated the Stewards Mill Store. She was an active member of the Methodist Church |
