If you live in Hockley County or own books with information on it and are willing to look up information please contact me.I inherited a book, From the Heart of Hockley County Recollections, from my grandmother, Jewel P. Robinson. She was the Hockley County Home Demonstration Agent for Hockley County from 1948 to the 1970's. The book has biographies of many families who lived and still live in Hockley County. I would be happy to do "look-ups" for anyone who may want me to provide the biographies of their families from this book. Donna Streetenberger
Virginia has agreed to do lookups in the area. While she stays pretty busy, Virginia has graciously volunteered her time to locate information for you. She is a resident there and has contributed transcriptions of local cemeteries to this site. She has agreed to seek out obituaries, marriages, items in the newspaper and general information about locations in the cemeteries of your loved ones. If you have any questions that you would like answered that you feel would fall in her realm please give her a shout.
