4p.m.Tuesday at Melton Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Jim Chandler, pastor of First  United Methodist Church 
will officate, assisted by the Rev. Frank Long, associate pastor.  Bural will be at Woodson Cemetery in Woodson.  
Born IDA CONSTANT CROUSEN Feb.9, 1899 in Johnson Co., she married MANCE ABLES  April 8,1930 in Woodson. He 
died in 1962. They lived in Baird after they married and moved to Eastland in 1951 where they farmed and  ranched in 
Eastland Co. She continued to farm for six years after her  husband's death. In 1968 she moved to Breckenridge from 
Eastland. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of Stephens Memorial Hospital and 
the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  Survivors include a sister, ADA SMITH of Yuma, Ariz.;t wo nephews, JOE CROUSEN JR. of Starkville, Miss., and GUIN CROUSEN of Irving; two nieces, CHLOE SHUMACHER of Yuma, Ariz., 
and SYBIL TOWNSEND of Downey, Calif. pastor of Woodson Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Woodson Cemetery under direction of Merriman Funeral 
Home.  Mrs. Allison was born Aug.9,1879 in Milam Co. to JACOB G. and ELLEN HADDOX WALTON. She was recently 
honored by her children on her 100th birthday with approximately 90 people attending. She married JAMES ALLISON 
in Dec.1896 in Milam Co. They were the parents of 14 children. They made their home in Devilla until 1898 when they 
moved to Eastland Co. by wagon. In 1917 they moved to Throckmorton.  Mr. Allison died in 1929 and six of the children 
are deceased. She was a Baptist. Survivors include five sons, DERREL E. of Hanesvile, LA., VIRGIL T. of Stamford,

Mr. Allison 63,a long time Woodson resident, died Monday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple. 
He had been in ill health since he had a dozer accident May 6,1970 in Notrees, Texas. Born May 13,1909 in Ranger, Mr.Allison married DOVIE CAMERON PERKINS, April 30,1959.  He served in the Air Force in World War II 
and was a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Smithville, where he lived at the time of his death, from Notrees,

He was a member of the Lions Club in Ft.Stockton. He was instrumental in helping send children of Ft.Stockton to the crippled children's camps each year. John's greatest loves were his family,and football. He received his Master's of Education from Tarleton State University in 1979. He retired from coaching and teaching in 1990 and began his labor of love,which was making thingsfor his family and friends.God blessed him with four daughters,his own cheering squad while he coached. Later,the family moved back to Stephenville for a few years,then to Goree,and on to Eliasville,where she met the man she was to marry,BOB DAWS. The last move by her father was to a community in Throckmorton County later to be called Titus Valley,about four miles west of where the town of Woodson now stands. There she was married to R.D.DAWS,Jan.8,1891. The young couple built a home on land adjoining that of her father's in Titus Valley.They lived in the home until 1905 when the town of Woodson was being planned,then they moved to land next to the townsite and built the house where she lived until her death.
