Per Ronald Wade - The Rev. Henderson Dailey Parker, born in Tenn., he married 29 Mar 1843 in Nacogdoches, Tx. to Jane Kinney Wilson (1819 Tn. - 1894 Foster Cemetery, Sterling Co., Tx.) By 1860 they were living in Upshur Co., Tx. and their children included William Henderson Palmer (1845 - 1924 Masonic Cemetery, Gatesville, Tx.; Co. I, Morgan's Tex Cav. C.S.A.), Littleton Palmer born about 1847, James Sharp Palmer (1849 Nocogdoches Co., Tx. - 1935 Shiloh Cem., Cherokee Co., Tx.), Benjamin W. Palmer (9 Feb 1853 - 27 May 1934 Smoot Cemetery, Cooke Co., Tx.).  I find no Civil War record for Rev. Parker unless he served in Mississippi Company D, Mississippi 40th Infantry Regiment where there was an H. D. Palmer.
