| Note from contributor: This is the obituary for my first cousin that died recently and buried in the Watson Cemetery, at Watson, Burnet County. Durward was the grandson of Columbus “Lum” Butler and James Campbell Watson, both of Burnet County. In fact, both Grandfather’s land was across the road from each other at what is now know as Watson, TX. Durward’s mother was Sarah Frances Butler.
