Deutsch, Manuel - Manuel Deutsch, a well known and respected resident, of Port Lavaca, died at the home of his mother at 8 o'clock this morning of complications arising from an injury sustained some months ago, when he burst a blood vessel in his throat while at work. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning from his late home, interment in the city cemetery. Manuel Deutsch was a product of Calhoun county, being born at Indianola about 45 years ago, and has lived in this county all his life. He leaves to mourn his death a mother, a brother, Joseph Deutsch of Palacios, and one sister, Mrs. George Raymond of this city, who have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavement.

Franks, William - Died, In this city on the 31st February, WILLIAM FRANKS, aged 46 years. Mr. Franks was an old resident of this city. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.
