Jordan, Caleb - Caleb Jordan, of Seadrift, died in Port Lavaca, aged 94.

Kuykendall, James W. - Funeral services were held from the Freund Funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon for James W. Kuykendall, 61, of Seadrift, who died in a local hospital late Saturday afternoon after being rushed to this city from Seadrift. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery following services conducted by Rev. W. A. McLeod of the First Presbyterian Church. E. J. Freund, Cuero funeral director, was in charge of the burial. Kuykendall, a brother of Mrs. C. A. Bonner, of this city, had been ill for some time and death was not unexpected. He was well known in this city, and leaves many friends to mourn his passing. One daughter, Miss Jessie Kuykendall of Houston, survives, in addition to a number of brothers and sisters.

Lytle, James T. - We regret to learn that Senator James T. Lytle, of Port Lavaca, died in that town on the 6th inst., of consumption.
