 Comments On Games

Coleman High School played Lampasas for the district championship of Class B; Coleman was undefeated in district "B" play, but Coleman lost 12 - 19 with the game ending with Coleman on the Lampasas 3 yard line.  Lampasas beat Odessa 44 - 0 in the first round, but lost to Cleburne in the second round 70 - 10.  Cisco then beat Cleburne 30 - 0 in the quarter-finals, who lost to Dallas Oak Cliff 52 - 7.  Oak Cliff beat Waco 31 - 0 in the state championship.  It appears that Coleman played two "post" season games after losing the district championship game to Lampasas.
