Ell Hopkins Garrett married Launa East at Manchester. Myrtle Garrett married Ernest Smith at Detroit.

Isaac Hudson Patterson's second marriage was to Cynthia Jane Geer at Kiomitia, in September, 1885. Their children were: Isaac Hudson Patterson, Jr., who died in infancy, Samuel Houston, Mittie Belle, and Amelia Jane. I. H. Patterson died August 9, 1895 and was buried at the Garland Geer Cemetery.

Daniel Patterson came to Texas and lived with his brother, I. H. Patterson, for some years, then went back to Indiana and married. He lived at Evansville. One daughter, Lucy Patterson, has never married.
