Baby Medlin Cemetery

There are 17 known babies buried in this cemetery.  Some have stones and others have been lost as this cemetery was lost to the farming in the area many years ago.  The first child was buried in 1903 and the last in 1938. Willie W. Adkins and Rob Smith 1903 On the left side of the cemetery. To the right is Louiza Gammage Medlin's twin boys, stillborn but no year. Next to these two children are twins by Jessie Mae Medlin Harris and her husband, Wesley Medlin. A girl, died Feb. 15, 1938, lived 5 days, A boy, lived about an hour. No names for these children. At the bottom of the cemetery on the right is Doss and Lillian Owens children as follows: One died May 25, 1915 One March 22, 1917 One February 22, 1916 Nno names. There are flat stones to at least two of these graves. On the right side is children of Hulon and Ester Lassiter, No dates. There is one listed as Riley Lee Lassiter, He died at 5 months, 19 days. Frank and Eddie Medlin have 2 buried here. Andrew and Lou Medlin have twin boy and girl buried here. No dates. Effie Garner has one buried here. Evie Gammage has one buried here. Bauch and Emmaloutency Owens have one child buried here. Again, no dates. Thomas Jefferson and Alma Lee Medlin have one buried here.
