| NOTES: The 1900 Leon Co., TX census gives Vivie's birth month as August, 1894. However, the grave marker for her mother in Boykin Chapel Cemetery, gives her mother's death date as 9/15/1893. The 1910 Leon Co., TX census lists Vivie as 16 years old in April which suggests that she was born in 1893. However, there is a stone in the Boykin Chapel cemetery for an infant daughter of John and Martha who was born on 8/13/1893 and died on 9/21/1893. This would mean that Vivie had to be a twin and the 1910 census is the one with the correct information. I have, therefore, assigned the birth date on the sister's stone in the Boykin Chapel Cemetery to Vivie. |
