MR. FRANK BOLT CALLED BY DEATH
On
December 29th, 1943, at his home in BURNET, Mr. Frank Bolt was called
by death. He had been in poor health for many years, but bore his
bodily ills with fortitude and courage.
His funeral service was
held December 31st in the Northington Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev.
Buren Sparks, pastor of First Baptist Church of BURNET of which
deceased was a consistent member. Burial was in the BURNET Cemetery,
the pallbearers being, Mannie Shilling, Jesse Ellett, Wallace Riddell,
Hunter Hibler, Earl Sawyer and Vernon Greer.
Mr. Bolt was born
in BURNET County, Texas on June 13th, 1877, and resided in this section
all his life. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Flora
Kate Carr of Dublin, Mrs. Mary Hibler of Bellaire, Lieut. Juanita Bolt,
a nurse in Australia, one son Brooks Bolt of Austin; two sisters, Mrs.
W. B. Atkinson, of Coleman, Mrs. J. H. Fry of Brownwood, and one
brother, Jeff Bolt of BURNET, all of whom were at his funeral with the
exception of the daughter in Australia.
Frank Bolt was a good
man, and had the respect and friendship of all with whom he was
associated. The family have the sympathy of many friends in their
bereavement.
