George Carson Calvert

George Carson Calvert  (1874-1960)

was the son of
John Wardlow Calvert (1848-1876)
 and
Mary Jane Carruth (1849-1928)







He was the grandson of
Hugh Hudson Calvert (1805-1883)
and Louisa Pearson (1812-1891)

Grandparents are buried in the Calvert plot at the Old Burnet Cemetery. 

The historical marker at Galloway House in Burnet bears H. H. Calvert's name. 




George Calvert married
Flora Cates in 1900




In 1895 George was co-owner of Calvert and Chamberlain stone cutting in Burnet.
