Burnet Woman Drowns Swimming in Inks Lake

Burnet, Texas, Sept 9 (AP)
Mrs. Elmer Craddock
, 34, of Burnet drowned Friday as she attempted to swim across a part o Inks Lake near here.

She first swam across an arm of the Lake from where she was fishing to cabins at a resort to get a drink of water.  When she was swimming back, she caught cramps and drowned.

Her body was in the water an hour and a half.  It was recovered by the Burnet Fire Department.

She was the wife of a well-known businessman here.  Funeral services will be held Saturday.
