R. E. DUKE DIES
A notice appeared in the Austin American-Statesman, Sunday that Reverend R. E. Duke, retired Methodist Minister had died suddenly at Rockdale.

Bro. Duke was formerly a Methodist Minister at this place.  He was 77 years old at the time of his death.
