MRS. SAM FARQUHAR DEAD
Rev. Mack Hahn was in to see us Monday morning and
reported that the day previously he conducted the funeral of
Mrs. Sam Farquhar, at the Bethel cemetery. Mrs.
Farquhar lived with her husband and two children near Miles,
Texas. She died of pneumonia and was reared in the Lake
Victor community, and her maiden name was Everett.
She is survived by her husband and two children, her mother
and several brothers and sisters. The Bulletin joins in
extending condolence to the bereaved relatives.

Transcriber's Note:
Lizzie May Everett was born
July 10, 1882, in Colorado County, Texas, the
daughter of Jordan and Missouri Jane Kirksey
Everett. She was a small child when the family
moved to Burnet County and the Sage/Bethel area. On
May 29, 1911, Lizzie married Samuel Lee (Sam)
Farquhar in Brady, Texas, and they were the
parents of two children: Cecil Edward, born
March 21, 1912, who married Geneva Gladys (Neva)
Barrett; and Francis Lee, born April 6,
1914, who married Ruby Ethel Davis.
Lizzie May (Everett) Farquhar died on February
20, 1926 of pneumonia.
