Last Tuesday morning about 6 o'clock, Mr. G. W. Hardin, a pioneer settler of Llano county was found dead at his home, caused by hanging himself, which tells the awful story.

Mr. Hardin has been a citizen of Llano county for many years, and a good one he was.  The cause of his death is as yet a mystery.

He was about 55 years of age, and leaves a wife and children to mourn his loss.  He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Kate Lacy and A. W. M. Crownover of our town.

His remains were carried to Commanche cemetery for interment.

Our heart-felt sympathy goes out for the bereaved.
