Betty Jo Kleen, 90, a longtime resident of Hays County died in Wimberley, on Friday, Oct 1.

She was born in Burnet County on March 3, 1920 to James Frank Houck and Sallie Leta Wolf Houck.

Betty Jo was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three sons and their wives: Danny and Beverly Kleen of Buda, TX, Ricky and Terry Kleen of Uhland, TX and Cletus and Mary Jane Kleen of Boerne, TX; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial dedication will be held on a later date at St. John Lutheran Church in Uhland, TX. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos.
