Formerly known in Marble Falls as "Grandpa" Loveless,
died at Hutto last Monday. His remains were shipped to this place
and laid to rest in the City Cemetery beside his wife, who had crossed
over the river of death a few years ago, and awaits his coming.
Mr Loveless has been a citizen of the town since its organization, and
at his death owned considerable property here, and had an army of very
warm friends, who mourn his demise.
He was a devoted husband, a kind father and a consistent Christian. May he sleep in peace.
His remains were met at the train by many friends. J. N. Clark, R. H. Evans, H. T. Ellison, D. L. McDonald, D. F. Turner and T. T. Hubbard acted as pall bearers.
Transcriber's note:
Mr. Loveless was born 3 Nov 1837; died 2 June 1903. He is buried in the Marble Falls Cemetery.
