The subject of this sketch is Mr. A. W. Morrow, who was born in Mississippi Dec. 3rd, 1828, and died June 10th, 1899, at his home in Pleasant Valley.
Mr. Morrow had been a resident of this community for many years. He was married to Miss Mellinda Crownover

'04 he was married the second time to Mrs. Laura Fry.
Mr. Morrow was an old Indian fighter and served in the war between the
United States and Mexico. He was always on the right side of all
moral questions; was strong Prohibitionist, having made himself
conspicuous as a worker for the cause in '85 and again in '97.

He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Peace to the ashes of this noble man.
