Burnet Bulletin, 5 Dec 1907
The subject of this sketch died at the home of his son, H.M.
Ramsower, in Burnet, Texas, November 27th 1970, after an extended
sickness, principally due to his advanced age, he having passed the
85th mile post.

being conducted by the Masonic order, of which deceased was an
honored member.
Edward Ramsower was born in the State of Indiana on the 18th day

but returned to Missouri, and then moved to Arkansas, where in 1852
he was united in marriage to Miss Polly Anthony, with whom he
lived happily for thirty-five years and reared a family of twelve
children, eight of whom are living, as follows: George and
Harvy, who reside in this community; Marion at San
Marcus; Mrs. Small, at Dallas; Mrs. Anthony, at Cross
Cut; Mrs. Stevebaugh; Mrs. Davenport, Willow City;
Mrs. Rogers, Cedar Mills.
Mr. Ramsower joined the Masonic order in Grayson County, Texas in
the year 18609.
He was a believer in the Christian religion and during his
residence of a number of years in Burnet made many friends.
The Bulletin joins these in extending condolence to the bereaved
relatives.
