- Several in this vicinity report the loss of a cow or two during a cold snap.

- Seed, Oats -- Frank Thomas.
- The sale of the Norton Property to Mr. John Hamon failed to materialize.

- Nice Lamps.  Howell & Warner
- It was proven Sunday that it doesn't get too cold in Texas to snow.

- Garden Seed.   Frank Thomas.
- A year's subscription to the Bulletin to the person who  will satisfactorily explain what became of the snow Sunday night.

- Notice.  Those wishing carpets woven, call at my residence.  Mrs. S. J. Mitchelltree.
- See my line of bargain shoes--you can get good shoes at a fraction of their value.  Frank Thomas.

- For Sale.  11 acres of land joining Useberall quarry -- 8 acres in cultivation, with hog-proof fence.  Two houses and good stable on it.  Will be sold cheap -- half cash and half on time.  Apply at this office.
- The weather Sunday and Monday was the coldest since February 1880.

Wanted.  Your hides and furs, butter, eggs and beeswax.  Frank Thomas.
- The temperature fell 30 degrees in 6 hours Saturday night, or at the rate of 5 degrees an hour.  Such a rapic change is unusual, even for Texas.

- L. C. Kincheloe is now able to walk about his yard, and will no doubt shortly regain his accustomed strength.
- Genuine Maine Seed Potatoes, Triumph Early Rose, Early Ohio.  40 cents a peck.  Badger-King Co.

- Dr. Wood has been called to Bertram several times recently in consultation with Bertram physicians.
- L. L. Shipp wants all your Eggs, will pay cash or trade, highest market price.  Want a car load, must have them.  Yours for business, "21" Shipp.

- Rev. T. Lee filled his appointment at Marble Falls Sunday morning and returned overland in the afternoon through the bitter cold.  A man of Col. Stevens' or the Junior Editor's build would no doubt have concluded that we had zero weather before the end of such a journey was reached.  Bro. Lee was lively as ever at his journey's end.
- For Sale or Trade.  My residence on South Main Street.  J. H. Knowles.

- Tax Collector W. C. Galloway collected more than $14,000.00 in taxes during the month of January.  This doesn't look much like the county was busted.
- Williamson County reports to the Austin Statesman to the effect that the loss to the lamb crop was very severe during the cold snap last week.

- District Attorney Dayton Moses returned Saturday from Johnson City.  His next duty will be at Fredericksburg, where he will go the latter part of this week.
- Bran and Chops at Badger-King Co.

- With the thermometer at 10 degrees above zero Monday morning, our Northern brethren who are spending the winter in Texas no doubt concluded that the Sunny South is a misnomer.
- R. H. Pogue Dead
